Identity Theft

Identity Theft is a situation that definitely hits home for me. A few months ago, someone gained access to my credit card information and ran up $2500 that I didn't even have. I went through a lot of paperwork and unnecessary steps to get this money back. To make a long story short, the police caught the individuals and I regained my funds. This goes to show that you have to be careful of where, and how you use your credit cards.

Cybercrime is at an all time high since technology has evolved. A person probably wouldn't have had to worry about this too much 15 years ago. But with everyone owning a computer nowadays, cyberbullying, cyber stalking, phishing, and fraud have all become serious threats to our livelihood. Cyber-bullying, is a form of bullying that usually involves social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. It involves one or more individuals who "attack" their victims through use of words. Even though no physical harm is being done, victims of cyber bullying have been known to commit suicide which was led on by whatever insults were made about the person. Phishing is what usually leads to crimes such as identity theft, and in my book, is the most dangerous. It allows unknown sources to gather your personal info maliciously.

In my opinion, it would be better to buy software on the web by downloading it simply because you wont have cds to install. This would be a faster method in getting the program you want faster.

Blogging has become a new rave and a creative way for people to put out their ideas. I think what attracts people to blogging is the fact that with the ideas they post, they can actually gain a solid following. With a strong "fanbase", someone could actually make a good amount of money just by giving their opinion on, well, just about anything. If I wanted to make a post on how much Im afraid of red assed baboons, I can post it lol Now this is a silly thing to make a blog about, but just to show that one can post about anything he or she feels. Now I can't sit here and type a lie and say that I do a lot of blogging. But I'd say if I were to start, I would talk about anything music related. I would talk about who is on the come up and which artists to look out for. I would also give my opinions on what is going on in the world, in general. People like Perez Hilton (cant stand this clown) are making a ton of money doing this, and If someone is interested in blogging, it can provide another avenue for income in ways they never thought of.
